First of all....

This blog will serve as an outlet for clocking and recording the goings-on and non-goings-on in the world known as myself, to me, and to others as to some other, to some degree or another removed.

This blog will link from Justin Duerr.com, to serve the function of the 'news' link there, but with the added bonus that readers can leave comments..... it became slightly uninspiring to keep abreast of the 'news' transmissions with no way to know (one way or the other) whether or not anyone was receiving them. So hopefully now I will at least be able to entertain the notion that some lonely entity on the W.W.W. could possibly stumble into this corner of the web and leave a note to state such. Why this matters, and what this means, I will leave up to the theoretical readers to decide.....

Today is Tuesday August 19th., 2008 AD, 5:30 AM. Surely the world is all bound on a precipice of colossal horror, as per usual, and surely also a fit of hilarity is about to break loose somewhere. But everyone knows that. Here's something you might not know:

Tonight Hex Nine worked on recording more songs. We are going to record many song. We already have some songs finished, but in rougher-hewn forms, or different forms.

Also, I have a very busy weekend coming up! Northern Liberties have a show coming up this weekend (Saturday) with Technician and No One And The Somebodies.

I also will be having an art opening at the record store 'Digital Ferret', which will also comprise a record release event for genCAB and Panic Lift. The weekend events will also act as a de facto birthday celebration for myself, on my 31st. year as whatever it is I am or was.

The new Auric Doves album has been with me for a while now.

I am going to make 50 hand-drawn covers, so each cover will be unique & special. These are the first ten..... plus a snapshot of the eight available right now (I've sold two so far)..... they're $10 and contain 10 songs clocking in at 36 minutes & 14 seconds. I will be dropping some off at the record store 'The Marvelous' in west Philly tomorrow, or you can mail order one (add $4.00 for postage, check money order or paypal - Justin Duerr, PO Box 13312, Phila.
